Our Story
CosmoFarmers was birthed from the desire to meet the cassava input requirements of a Starch manufacturing factory. A feasibility report revealed the reason for the high failure rate of starch manufacturing plants and the critical success factors. The critical success factors were guaranteed supply of cassava tubers, unencumbered land and off course, power supply.
We addressed the critical success factor of unencumbered land by obtaining land from Lagos and Ogun state.
We decided to make the required investment for a great start by collaborating with the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA). This investment skills, knowledge and inputs of the institute paid off as it saved us from expensive farming errors.
This ‘detour’ has resulted in a 1-hectare farm (with over 11 green houses) in Agbowa, Lagos and a 100-hectare farm in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
The focus of our Agribusiness remains the cultivation, sourcing and processing of fresh, wholesome and pocket-friendly priced food products using sustainable processes and inputs. We ensure ethical and responsible practices in our operations.
Doing Good
Beyond Agribusiness, CosmoFarmers is a firm believer in preserving the dignity of the vulnerable as they seek to break free from poverty by engaging in profitable work. Our support for the Vulnerable is targeted at Women and Children.
CosmoFarmers working with religious and community leaders in our host community in Ogun state, we identified vulnerable families. Studies have shown that empowering women has a multiplier effect in terms of the number of lives that are impacted. The women were allowed to harvest cassava tubers, process and sell the output- Lafun at an agreed rate.
In a similar view, a pilot scheme targeted at Vulnerable families in Lagos commenced in August 2024. These women were provided with seed capital in form of Tomatoes, Habanero and Red bell peppers. They subsequently were supplied the mass market produce for sale. This has so far been successful, impacting 8 lives directly and many more indirectly.
At CosmoFarmers, we are also mindful of the need to support Vulnerable children. Over the years, we have supported an Orphanage in Lagos by providing fresh tomatoes, peppers, fruits and vegetables on a weekly basis.

Good things take time! We typically deliver within 2-3 days (excluding sundays), we also offer same-day and next-day delivery options, depending on your location and delivery preference. The delivery timelines will be indicated during check-out.

We are committed to meeting your expectations. Refunds are available under specific conditions such as incorrect orders delivered, poor quality/damaged items, or service delays beyond reasonable expectations. We believe in maintaining high standards, and any deviations from these standards may qualify for a refund. When requesting a refund, please provide your order number, receipt, and a detailed description of the issue. Refunds will be issued through the original method of payment or as store credit
Can I return delivered food items?
We will send a notification/reminder on the day of delivery. Please send access codes stating your name/order number. If you are unavailable to take delivery, ahead of the delivery timeline, please provide alternative delivery options using your registered mobile and stating your order number. We will deliver to the alternative delivery address, provided the alternative option is within a 100m radius of your stated. A delivery completion notification will be sent to you.
